Lindsey Birrell2023-11-01Our family has used Bruntsfield Physiotherapy for years whenever we have had the need. Our injuries have been resolved with kindness and care. I highly recommend them and I would not use anyone else.Ken Young2023-10-31Bruntsfield physiotherapy are a very professional outfit. After major back surgery I entrusted my after care to Shona who is an expert on backs, she developed and tailored a specific course of treatment that has improved and maintained my mobility with the use of hands on techniques that I was never offered on the NHS. Ken YoungFraser Gordon2023-10-31I have been seeing Shona at B P for a number of years including for sciatica and for a lower back problem. I would undoubtedly recommend Bruntsfield Physiotherapy to anyone seeking diagnosis and/or help with any kind of ache or pain.Elizabeth Leith2023-10-31Early in 2023 I was very bothered by a painful and stiff left knee. I already imagined a future of walking sticks, a stair lift, and maybe soon a wheelchair. In trepidation I booked an appointment in Bruntsfield Physiotherapy and much encouraged by Helen at the desk and then an appointment with wonderful, knowledgeable Colm my knee started to respond, the pain got less. Several appointments later I was walking better and most importantly learned how to continue the improvement. My knee is so much better now, but if there is a relapse, I know exactly where I will go. Excellent treatment, advice and support in a cheerful and positive environment. Thank you so much. ElizabethK Bates2023-10-30Bruntsfield Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Clinic has been my ‘go-to’ place for acute injuries and longer-term issues for many years. The clinic was first recommended by a colleague. I was initially hesitant when I heard the word ‘Sports,’ as, although I do a lot of walking, I am not a sporty person. I needn’t have worried. Shona and her team are excellent listeners, and empathetic and practical in their approach. They have been unfailingly helpful with each condition I have taken to them and I have always come away feeling that the visits have been worthwhile - though sometimes the beneficial effects take a day or so to really kick in! When I sustained an injury at the very start of the pandemic, Shona went above and beyond to provide help in a contactless, completely safe manner. The practice has evolved over time, reflecting the importance attached to continuing professional development, as well as the general advances within the field. A recent useful addition to the service has been an online portal with demonstration video clips of suggested exercises.Joanne Martin2023-10-30Shona is brilliant! She has assessed and treated my back twice in a very kind and professional way. I was in a lot of pain with a slipped disc the second time I saw Shona. She provided acupuncture for relief and lots of advice on how to recover. When returning to work, she also provided a phased plan of return, which also aided my recovery. All in all, I highly recommend her. Shona provides a sympathetic ear whilst tailoring her extensive physio experience & knowledge to aid recovery.Patricia Drake2023-10-30I have had superb help from Danielle over the past 18 months for tendonopathy, a knee injury and back spasms. The acupuncture, hands-on treatment and home exercises have resolved each problem very efficiently. Highly recommend this physio practice.stephen laux2023-10-30Shona and her team provide an excellent standard of service. They have enabled me to continue playing sport well into my 70's, which is testament to their professionalismJoe Solomon2023-10-30This is a very professional and kind work place that’s provide the best quality treatments. I had runner knee for 8 months that just got worse and worse, I finally decided to do something about it and went here to sort it out. And only 1 and a half months later I just ran 7km in 37:21 minutes. (Not as fast as I used to be) But it felt great to get back out there running again, getting to do what I missed for so long. I highly recommend this practice for anyone who has any problems :)urquhartfay2023-10-30I had an inflamed Achilles tendon which I foolishly ignored for months before getting treatment. The team at Bruntsfield were amazing. First Eric the podiatrist instantly realized I needed special insoles for both feet, and with his help my walking and pain got much better. Then I went to the physiotherapy for the shockwave treatment. It took a while to kick in, but Danielle my physio was amazing and so supportive. They were all very up front and honest about how much I would need and the prices, trying to save me money while ensuring I got what would really help. They know their stuff and are very friendly and welcoming. And now I can walk long distances again and have a manageable exercise regimen to prevent a relapse. Thank you so much, guys!Google rating score: 5.0 of 5,
